About This Site

The Hugging Club Of India is an initiative to remove stigma around mental illness and encourage people to ask for help.

Our friend committed suicide in July 2017. He was depressed and down and couldn’t express or talk openly about the issues he was battling.
Therefore, we decided to create a platform where people could talk about their issues and feelings without the fear of being judged. And to prevent suicides by encouraging people to ask for help.
